What a beautiful Saturday in August it was. The perfect day for families and friends from near and far to come together and celebrate The Smiths. Dalton and Haleigh said "I do" in a beautiful homegrown church in heart of The Good Life - Cambridge, Nebraska, on August 28, 2021.
The entire day was filled with smiles, joy-filled tears, and soft giggles as these two committed their lives to one another in front of those nearest and dearest to them. Memories of their relationship were reminisced upon during the reception and I can only imagine the two envisioned their lives unfolding before them as they danced the night away in each other's arms.
My wish for you is that you savor the sweet little and seemingly insignificant moments. The moments that don't necessarily stand out as big - the tiny moments that make up your day - the good morning kisses, embracing each other as you walk through the door, the homemade meal shared at the dinner table. They may not be the most breathtaking, they may not be the most glamorous, but I can assure you, it's the little and most innocent memories that flood our souls with intense joy as you reflect on your lives built together.
Dalton and Haleigh, Thank you for letting me be a small part of your day. Thank you for trusting me with the most special day of your lives. Thank you for letting me document these memories for you. I hope in 5, 10, 20+ years, when you reopen your wedding album, these images ignite a wave of emotions in your heart and bring the biggest smile to you as you reminisce on the day you both said "I do."
